Psychotherapy
My approach
A steady, grounded space to explore what’s here.
Psychotherapy offers a space to explore the patterns, wounds and questions that shape our lives. My work integrates contemporary psychology with relational presence, somatic awareness, and mindfulness-based understanding.
I support people navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, complex family systems, identity, and the deeper layers of human experience. Together we explore what is difficult with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your own inner system.
What sessions are like
A calm, grounded place to reflect, feel, and make meaning at your own pace.
We might explore:
relationship patterns
emotional cycles that feel stuck
early environments and attachment
grief or transition
the impact of stress and trauma
I mostly draw from sensorimotor psychotherapy and IFS. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, developed by Pat Odgen PhD, supports a mindful exploration of the body and how it organises around wellness, attachment wounds and traumatic experience.
IFS understand the psyche is made up of parts—each with positive intentions—and a core Self that is naturally compassionate and wise. Life experiences often force parts into extreme roles and casue them to carry pain. The IFS process gently supports these parts to release old burdens and restore trust in Self-leadership.
